A message to our friends, clients, and patients as we continue to serve our community's mental health needs

There is no change in our clinical schedule, however we are expanding our video conferencing (telemedicine/telecounseling) services to meet the growing demand. We strongly encourage you to use sound judgement during this time. While we don't want to be fearfully reactive, we do realize the importance of an appropriate safety response to protect our clients and the community. We have deeply cleaned and sanitized the clinic and will continue to sanitize throughout the day. We have minimized potential risk of infection, including removing lobby magazines and minimizing contact with community items. We have and will continue to sanitize the waiting room, bathroom, all doorknobs, and surfaces in the check-in and check-out area. We recognize that transmission can be greatly minimized when using safety measures and we are doing all that we can to assure your safety.

We are offering video services to new and existing clients. We have several HIPAA compliant platforms we use to provide a private meeting environment with you and your therapist/doctor. This service is covered by most major insurance companies. Please contact the clinic at 501-225-0576 to see if you qualify for video appointments. If you are canceling your appointment because of social distancing concerns, please consider video (telemedicine/ telecounseling) as an alternative.

In compliance with The Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidelines, we ask that you stay home if you have experienced the following:

  • Have had a fever of 100.4 degrees within the last 14 days
  • Are experiencing cough/shortness of breath
  • Have had pneumonia or the flu recently
  • Have traveled out of the country in the last 14 days to a level 2 or 3 country as determined by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention
  • Have had contact with anyone who has lab confirmed Novel Coronavirus with the past 14 days of symptoms onset.

If your answer is yes to any of the above or if you don't feel comfortable leaving the home, please consider services through video. You can contact the clinic at 501-225-0576 to schedule an appointment.

Our medical leaders have researched the latest recommendations on the transmission of COVID-19 and are appropriately reactive to this health concern, recognizing that there are some basic steps that can be taken to reduce transmission. We ask that you abide by the following:

Avoid hugging, handshaking, or fist bumping with healthcare workers and other patients while in the clinic. Please know that our clinicians and staff want to extend love, but personal touching during this time is not recommended.

If you cough or sneeze, please cover your mouth while doing so.

Meticulous handwashing is recommended. Please wash your hands thoroughly and often. We ask that you wash your hands or use alcohol-based hand sanitizers provided by the clinic upon entering and exiting your appointment.

Please do not touch your face. This is hard but can be learned with practice.

Clean doorknobs, toilets, cellphones, countertops, many times during the day. Household cleaners will kill the virus before it spreads. We will be cleaning frequently all day at the clinic.

Recognize that you have more control over this matter than it appears. By following these basic steps, you are helping prevent the potential spread of disease and keeping you and your family safe.

For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
